Wharton DLA's PTO organizes a variety of community building and fundraising events throughout the school year. Given the nature of the 2020-2021 school year, our events will be different than in past years, but we remain committed to our goal of building community and raising funds for our school through programs and activities.

Below you will find a list of the events that we typically hold each school year. We will update this page as we have more details about our various events. We also recommend parents visit our calendar to sign up to receive automatic calendar updates!

Fall Festival - October

Festival de Otoño - Octubre

The Fall Festival is an annual community-building and fundraising event held on our school campus. Enjoy food, games, bounce houses, a haunted house, and more during this beloved Wharton event. 

Family Campout – October or November
Campamento Familiar – Octubre

Get away to Double Lake Recreation Area for our annual family campout. Stay for the weekend or go for the day and enjoy the outdoors with other Wharton families.

Wharton Eagle Run – January
Boosterthon y Carrera – Enero

Our students participate in a two-week, fitness-based fundraiser where they’ll learn essential character traits.

BBQ Plate Sale - February

Our dedicated volunteers sell barbecue plates to raise funds that allow the PTO to sponsor Gala tickets for our teachers and staff. 

Spring Gala - April

Enjoy an adults-only evening of food, drinks, and dancing. The live and silent auctions raise important funds for our school.

Once a month, Wharton's PTO partners with a local restaurant to raise funds for our school. Keep an eye out for announcements on upcoming dates and restaurants.
