From the Principal's Desk

Dear Wharton Families,

Thank you to everyone who has donated to our Wharton Eagle Run fundraiser. I hear we're very close to reaching our $20,000 milestone, which unfortunately means I'll have to eat a bug pizza, but it brings us closer to a new playground.

Superintendent Millard House has shared the Six Foundational Commitments HISD is making to the Houston community as part of its strategic plan. HISD has also issued its 2022-2023 Academic Calendar. Please take a moment to review these.

Remember there are no classes on Monday. We will see your students back on Tuesday, Feb. 22.

Our HLSR School Rep will be on campus starting at 3:15 PM selling 1/2 Price Houston Livestock and Rodeo Carnival Packs. See flyer.

Wharton Eagle Run: Weekend Challenge

Thank you Wharton families for your support of our Wharton Eagle Run fundraiser! We hope your kids have talked to you about the traits they have learned about this week in school – curiosity, practice, humility, confidence.

If you haven’t registered your student on mybooster.com, it’s easy to do this weekend.

Weekend Challenge: Students that get NEW donations of $2 per lap (or $60 in flat donations) or more over this weekend, will earn their regular rewards plus an amazing BONUS prize!
