Dear Wharton Families,

This Sunday is the Lunar New Year. Join us in celebrating this ancient tradition of new beginnings and good fortune as we recognize and honor our Asian American students, staff, families, and community members.

We have some exciting developments in our upper grades playground. Equipment is arriving and installation will begin soon. We are very grateful for your continued support of our PTO to make this playground a reality for our school.

Please note that the deadline for Phase I magnet applications is quickly approaching. If you have a 5th or 8th grader, please make sure you apply to your schools of choice by February 2.

Wharton Eagle Run

Our Wharton Eagle Run 2023 kicks off on Monday!

With your generous contributions over the past years, we have been able to purchase the equipment for Phase I of the playground. We are very excited to announce that the equipment has arrived, and installation will begin soon. We invited our Wharton Eagles who helped us soar past our fundraising goal last year to our groundbreaking. Take a look at our groundbreaking pictures!

Our goal this year is to raise an additional $70,000 for the first part of Phase II of our Outdoor Playground which has a total cost of $150,000+.
