SUBJECT: Pssst ... 🦅We have some surprises!

Hello Wharton Eagles!

Wharton's PTO has been working on some special surprises for the week of our 10th Annual Spring 'Un-Gala' and we can finally tell you all about them! Take a look at the fun, family-friendly activities we have planned leading up to and after our main event on June 6 and participate to support our school!

June 1: Virtual Loteria

To kick off our week of Gala festivities, Maribel Ternate will host a virtual loteria via Zoom on June 1 at 6 p.m. Join us with the whole family from the comfort of your home and win fun prizes. Space is limited to 100 families. The cost per family is $5. Reserve your spot!

June 3: Build a Wharton Eagle

Join us virtually for a Build-a-Wharton-EagleWorkshop led by our amazing music teacher, Ms. Salazar. It's easy! Buy your build-an-eagle kit and log in to Zoom on June 3 at 6 p.m. to stuff your eagle along with Ms. Salazar and other Wharton families. Each kit costs $20. Sales close on May 27. Eagle kits will be available for delivery to in-person students and pick-up for virtual students the week of June 1.

June 6: 10th Annual Spring Un-Gala

Join us for appetizers, signature "El Aguila" drinks, games of loteria, and a fun time at this adults-only happy hour. The event will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on June 6 at Calle Onze in the Heights. Tickets are now on sale for the in-person event and to-go options.

June 9: All About Eagles

The American Eagle Foundation will virtually visit our school on June 9 to teach students about America’s eagles, their conservation story, and the threats that they continue to face today. This program will be hosted during the school day and all Wharton teachers will have the option to join in with their virtual and in-person students.
