Over the next 6 weeks, we’ll be answering your questions about the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Wharton. Watch this week’s video interview with Principal Day to learn more about the origins of IB at Wharton and how IB is integral to dual-language curriculum.

Will you help us reach our goal of 150 families donating $50,000 to help sustain our IB program? To date, we’re at 22% of our goal with 34 Wharton families pledging $10,875 to Juntos. Here's how you can help:

Pumpkin Decorating Contest
Submit a picture of your masterpiece by Oct. 22. Vote for your favorites from Oct. 23-29. One winner per grade level will be announced on Oct. 29.

Visit our first-ever Wharton Pumpkin Patch in the gated field by the cafeteria! Come by and pick out a pumpkin.

Hours of Operation: Thurs. and Fri. 4 PM - 6 PM | Sat. 10 AM - 2 PM

Friday, Oct. 22: Fall Festival Trunk-or-Treat
Come by Wharton and admire the decorated trunks! Please note that this year families will walk through the trunk or treat.

You can still donate candy by dropping it off at the hungry monster in the school's foyer or ordering from our Amazon wishlist. PLEASE, no candy that contains nuts.

For 8th Grade Parents

October 13 at 8:30 AM: PSAT 
The Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Test (PSAT) 8/9 will be administered to all 8th graders at the gym. Please plan for your 8th grader to be present for testing on this day. Make-ups will not be available. You may find practice tests on the “Middle School and Science Team” tab on the Wharton Dual Language Academy web page.
