As we head into Thanksgiving break, I want to express my gratitude for all your support of our students, teachers, and staff. We have the most wonderful community.

Immunizations: A reminder to please send immunization records, especially COVID. Students who are 12 years old must have Tetanus and meningitis vaccines.

COVID Policy: HISD has not changed their policy, negative covid test OR doctor clearance required to return to school after illness.

Safety: When we return to school, please don't forget to be careful when crossing the streets, and please don't cross in front of cars.

Attention Middle Schoolers! There is still space available for the 2021 Creative Writing Middle School Workshop at Kinder HSPVA. The workshop will be held on Saturday, December 4, 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The cost is $65 and includes a workshop t-shirt, notebook, and pen. 

Advance registration is open! This is the final Middle School Workshop at Kinder HSPVA for the 2021 - 22 school year. Walk-ins cannot be accommodated.

Financial assistance is available. Email HSPVA Friends Volunteer Manager for more information.
