From the Principal's Desk

Dear Wharton Families,

After 35 years in the district, Ms. Toni Guerra, our administrative assistant, is retiring. Her last day at Wharton is March 31. We wish her well in her retirement and thank her for all her contributions to the Wharton community.

Starting this month, we’ll be hosting Coffee with the Principal instead of virtual parent meetings. Please save the date and join us at the school cafeteria on March 30 at 8:45 a.m.

I hope your families have a safe and relaxing Spring Break! We’ll see you on March 21.

Jennifer Day

Wharton PTO News

Congratulations to Ms. Rodriguez's 3rd grade class! They were the winner of the most pledges for the entire program. A shout out to Ms. Iglesia's PreK class who came in second. Both of the classes were very competitive, and Wharton is truly lucky to have such dedicated parents, students, and teachers!

We ended up at 103% of our total fundraising goal of $60,000! We had 67% of students registered. It is our all-time high for both money fundraised & student registration.

To celebrate hitting our various milestones, our students get two fun days!

  • March 30: Crazy Hair Day
  • April 14: Switch Day (Students dress teachers and teachers dress as students)

Our teachers and staff will also participate in an obstacle course on May 27. We will send details closer to the date.

Any missing prizes have been ordered and should arrive after spring break for delivery to students. Thank you once again for your incredible support!
