From the Principal's Desk

Dear Wharton Families,

We're less than four weeks away from the end of school. It's truly the final stretch and we have a full calendar of end-of-year activities, so we hope you'll help us finish this year strong. Please see our events and programs section below and mark your calendars for upcoming events and activities.

If you haven't already, please help us by filling out the Parent and Family Engagement Survey below. The deadline is May 20.

Next week, we will continue STAAR testing, so no visitors will be allowed on campus. Remind your students to get good rest and eat a healthy breakfast on their testing day.

Enjoy your weekend,

Jennifer Day

Thank You, Nurse Dana

This past week, we celebrated National School Nurse Day!

A huge thank you to Nurse Dana, our amazing school nurse for her work and dedication. She makes an incredible impact on the health and wellness of our students every day.

Our partner H-E-B Montrose store paid her a surprise visit to show their appreciation.

Thank you, Nurse Dana!

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Your feedback is anonymous. For your voice to be heard, you must submit this survey on or before May 20, 2022. GT Notes

Earlier this week the results of the achievement and abilities test (CoGAT and IOWA/Logramos) went home with your child. Please note that these reports do not indicate if your child was identified as gifted and talented. You should have received a copy of their GT matrix from the GT department by mail.

If you have not received a copy of the matrix or have any questions, please email Ms. Silva at ana.silva@houstonisd.org

Nurse's Notes

Please email me:
