SUBJECT: Wharton DLA Newsletter 10.25.2024

October 25, 2024

Dear Wharton Families,

We are thrilled to announce that our campus received an outstanding score of 9.125 from the independent review team, recognizing us as a Proficient 1 school! This achievement is a testament to the dedication of our staff and the exceptional work happening every day, setting the standard for high-quality instruction.

As Halloween approaches next week, we know our students are eagerly anticipating the festivities. We’d like to gently remind everyone that students should not wear costumes to school on Halloween. However, we are excited for our PK-2nd grade students to join in the Storybook Parade on Friday, November 1st, at 2 p.m.!

Thank you for your continued support, and have a wonderful weekend!

Storybook Character Day and PK-2nd Parade

Friday, Nov. 1 | PK-2nd Parade 2-2:30 p.m.

PK-2nd grade
will be participating in the Storybook Character Day Parade, 2-2:30 p.m.

PK-2nd grade students should come to school dressed in their school uniform and bring their costume in a bag. Students must be able to change into their costumes independently without assistance from an adult. This will help prevent accidents and allow students to safely use school facilities, play on the playground, and move around the school without bulky costumes.

3rd-8th grade is invited to dress up as a storybook character and should wear their costume to school.
