📍 Getting There
- Pedestrian Entrance: Please enter via Columbus St. The festival takes place on the fields, bus lanes, and Columbus St. driveway.
- Parking: On-campus parking is not available. Please walk, carpool, or use limited surrounding street parking. Please be courteous and don't park in neighboring businesses' lots or block driveways.
- Transit: WDLA is accessible on multiple MetroHouston bus lines. You can plan your trip at ridemetro.org.
🎟️ Admission and What You Need
Admission to the festival is free, but you'll need a wristband or tickets to play games and buy concessions.
- Pre-ordered Kits (Tickets, Wristbands, T-Shirts): All pre-ordered T-shirts and completed orders will be delivered to your oldest student's classroom by Friday, 10/31. If you miss your delivery, you may pick up pre-orders at the Ticket Booth during Fall Fest.
- Purchase at the Ticket Booth:
- All You Can Play Wristband: $30
- Tickets: 10 for $10 | 30 for $25
- WDLA Spirit Wear and limited Fall Fest tees
- Payment: Credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Cash
🍽️ El Mercado (The Heart of the Fall Fest)
- El Mercado is the heart of Fall Fest, inspired by the markets of México. Visit vendor tables offering tacos, frutas locas, homemade tamales, and desserts.
- External Food Vendors: A percentage of all sales will be donated back to the WDLA PTO! (Cash encouraged for faster service)

Concessions: Wharton's booth sells water, soda, juice, chips, and pickles—purchase with tickets.

- Inflatable Obstacle Course (3rd-8th Grade)
- Bounce House (PK-2nd Grade)
- Petting Zoo & Rock Painting
- Face Painting, Balloon Artists, and Vendors with live demos
- Photo op with beloved Coco characters: Miguel, Héctor, y Mamá Imelda—experience the soundtrack live!
- Día de Muertos Ofrenda: Honor loved ones and celebrate the traditions of Día de Muertos. Feel free to bring a COPY of a picture (please NO originals) to place on the ofrenda. Write your child's name and teacher on the back, and we'll do our best to get the picture back to you.
- Entertainment: Two great performances celebrating our community!
- Heights High School Mariachi Band will perform with traditional Mexican music
- Kinder High School for the Performing And Visual Arts: Global Grooves Ensemble will perform, blending rhythm and harmony with young local talent

🤝 Volunteers Needed
Each class is assigned a game or booth. Volunteers can be parents, students, or family members. If a student needs service hours, it will be tracked. Parents are encouraged to volunteer with their student!
