K-12th Grade Phase 1 Application is now closed. Phase 2 opens April 8, 2026.
All 5th graders need to apply, even if they plan to attend Wharton MS next year.
Pre-K Phase 1 Application is open and closes on April 17, 2026.

HISD 2026-2027 School Calendar Options
HISD is soliciting feedback on two 26-27 calendar options through a survey linked below via ParentSquare. HISD staff will review the feedback and recommend a calendar to the Superintendent and the Board of Trustees for adoption in February 2026. The calendar recommended may be Calendar Version A, Calendar Version B, or a new version derived from one of these drafts and influenced by community feedback. Thank you in advance for your input. Deadline is this Friday, Jan. 16.
