We’re continuing our ¡Juntos! video series to answer your questions about the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at Wharton. In this week’s video, Ms. Silva, our IB coordinator, explains how our students benefit from IB and how IB works in the classroom.

Will you help us reach our goal of 150 families donating $50,000 to help sustain our IB program? To date, we’re at 25% of our goal with 35 Wharton families pledging $12,275 to Juntos. Thank you for your generosity! Here's how you can help:

  • Donate monthly for a year or the entirety of your child’s time at Wharton
  • Make a one-time donation in the amount of your choice

Bonus! Every family who donates to ¡Juntos! will receive an exclusive ¡Juntos! sticker.

Nurse's Notes

We recently had a surge in COVID cases here at Wharton. Please remind your children to wear their masks, wash their hands, and keep their distance. The students are tired, we are tired, but we have to keep it up for as long as it takes.

Please don’t send your children to school with any symptoms, even you think it is “allergies”. COVID in children can look like allergies, strep, flu or even be without symptoms. Call your doctor, get them evaluated. There are a lot of “bugs” out there.

Wharton Eagles when you discover a traditional Box Tops clip on a product, you can still clip it and send it to school. Every valid Box Tops clip is still worth 10¢ for Wharton Dual Language Academy!

Send in your box tops glued to the collection sheet or if you prefer, you can just submit your clips in an envelope with your student name, grade and teacher's name to the school office.

The household that submits the most Box Tops this Fall will win a prize. Scan your receipts or send in your traditional Box Tops clips to school by October 29th so we can mail them by Nov. 1st deadline.

If you have not yet downloaded the Box Tops app on your phone do so today and help us meet our yearly goal of $1,000: www.BTFE.com
