Storybook Character Day

We can’t wait to see our students dressed as a character from a favorite book! Help your students create costumes using items you already have at home. We also ask that students either bring the book or make a sign/poster identifying their book and favorite character. 

All students (PK-8th grade) are invited to dress in a storybook costume on this day. As a reminder, students are still learning throughout the day. We ask parents to use their best judgment in selecting their storybook costume to wear all day. We discourage props and masks. Students may not bring anything that resembles a weapon. 

• PK-2nd grade students will participate in our annual Storybook Character Parade on October 31, 2023 at 2:30 p.m.
• 3rd-8th grade students are invited to wear a costume but they will only watch the parade along with parents.

The parade route is located around the exterior of the building, so spectators will be outside. The Storybook Character Parade will be held rain or shine.
