Wharton DLA's PTO organizes a variety of community building and fundraising events throughout the school year. Below you will find a list of events that we typically hold each school year.

During Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15-Oct. 15), we sample food from our community's countries of origin and play Loteria together. 

Starting in 2024-25, we're moving our annual Boosterthon fundraiser to the Fall. Our students participate in a two-week, fitness-based fundraiser where they’ll learn essential character traits.

The Fall Festival is an annual community-building event held on our school campus. Enjoy food, games, a haunted house and more during this beloved Wharton event. 

Get away to Double Lake Recreation Area for our annual family campout. Stay for the weekend or go for the day and enjoy the outdoors with other Wharton families.

On Go Texan Day, the Wharton PTO Dads' Club cooks up tasty BBQ fare to treat our teachers and staff. With sales to our school community, we raise additional funds.

Enjoy an adults-only evening of food, drinks and dancing. The live and silent auctions raise essential funds for our school.

Throughout the school year, Wharton's PTO partners with a local restaurant to raise funds for our school. This also gives families the opportunity to get-to-know other Wharton DLA families.
