I would love to have been able to meet you. Your great great grandmother and I had ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren that I knew of. We used to give our grandchildren first ten dollar checks and then later 25.00 dollar checks for birthdays. So I think that is why your grandmother is sending this to you for your school. I loved school and remembered all from my kindergarten days as well as all of my teachers. Quite a feat when you are 95. I hope you enjoy and learn a great deal at your school.
