Let's Celebrate Hispanic Heritage at WDLA!

Join us for our annual Hispanic Cultural Heritage celebration on Thursday, September 19th, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the WDLA Cafeteria.

We're going to have music and folklore dancers, sharing typical food from the host countries, playing Loteria and Bingo and having a contest for the Best table and the Best dish!!

How you can help:

• Join a table of the Host Countries: Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Spain and Vietnam and showcase the vibrant diversity of LatinX cultures at our school. Join the WhatsApp groups below.

Tables can feature:

• • Food: Delicious snacks or dishes representative of your culture. Sign-up here
  • Decor: Traditional decorations from your country
  • Clothing: Traditional attire or accessories (we encourage traditional clothing to be worn to the event as well!)
  • Art: Showcasing local artists or crafts
