Hello Parents,
Welcome to the start of a new school year! We are excited to partner with you in supporting your child’s middle school journey. Middle school is a time of great growth and change, and staying informed and involved is key to helping your child succeed.
Each week, you will find important updates and helpful tips on how you can support your child throughout the school year.
Tips for a Great Start to the School Year:

Communication is Key:
Make sure you have downloaded the Remind app and added your child’s grade level. All reminders from teachers will come through this app, so it’s essential to stay connected.

Review and Organize:
This weekend, take some time to go through your child’s backpack and review the information provided by teachers. Please help your child establish a system for organizing themselves and their class materials. A little organization now can save a lot of stress later!

Agenda Check:
All students should have received their agenda by now. If your child does not have one, please get in touch with their homeroom teacher. The agenda is an excellent tool for keeping track of homework, projects, and upcoming tests. With seven class periods each day, staying organized is crucial.

Stay on Top of Grades:
Please download the PowerSchool app and check your child’s grades regularly. Staying on top of grades from the beginning is essential, rather than waiting for the progress reports or report cards. Early intervention can make a big difference!

- La Comunicación es Clave:

Ayuden a su hijo a crear un sistema de organización, para su hijo y sus materiales escolares. ¡Un poco de organización al inicio puede ahorrar mucho estrés más adelante! - Verificación de la agenda:
Todos los alumnos deberían ya haber recibido su agenda. Si su hijo no tiene una, por favor pónganse en contacto con su maestro (homeroom teacher). Con siete períodos de clase diarios, mantenerse organizado es crucial. - Manténganse al tanto de las calificaciones:
Descarguen la aplicación PowerSchool y revisen las calificaciones de su hijo con regularidad.
