2025-26 PTO Board Update

As part of our ongoing effort to support a clear and inclusive process for confirming the 2025–2026 PTO Board, we are resetting the current voting process and moving forward with a final, formal vote at our upcoming General PTO Meeting on Monday, May 19.
Previous steps in the process reflected approaches used in prior years. However, it’s become clear that more clarity and consistency would benefit our community. This upcoming vote is intended to support that, a more shared understanding and broad participation.
The meeting will be held virtually, and voting will take place electronically through Membership Toolkit (MTK). This format allows for wider access and supports our commitment to transparency.
Here’s what to expect:

Voting will open during the May 19 meeting and remain open through Thursday, May 22 at 8PM CDT.

Each board position will be voted on individually. The President (elected last year) and Past President (which rolls over automatically) roles will not be up for election, but there will be an opportunity to affirm those roles.

Voting will require sign-in through MTK and will not be anonymous.

Como parte de nuestro esfuerzo por mantener un proceso claro e inclusivo para confirmar a la Junta del PTO 2025–2026, vamos a reiniciar el proceso de votación actual y realizaremos una votación final y formal en nuestra próxima reunión general del PTO, el lunes 19 de mayo.
Los pasos anteriores siguieron métodos usados en años pasados, pero nos dimos cuenta de que sería útil tener más claridad y consistencia. Esta nueva votación busca lograr eso: una mejor comprensión compartida y una participación más amplia.
La reunión será virtual, y la votación se hará electrónicamente a través de Membership Toolkit (MTK). Este formato permite un acceso más amplio y refuerza nuestro compromiso con la transparencia.
¿Qué puedes esperar?
- La votación se abrirá durante la reunión del 19 de mayo y estará disponible hasta el jueves 22 de mayo a las 8PM CDT.
- Se votará por cada puesto de la junta por separado. Los cargos de Presidente (elegido el año pasado) y Expresidente (que se mantiene automáticamente) no estarán en votación, pero sí se podrá confirmar su continuidad.
- Para votar, se debe iniciar sesión en MTK, y el voto no será anónimo.
