Get Ready! Wharton DLA Fall Festival 2025 is Coming!

 

Mark your calendars! Our annual Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, November 1st, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Wharton DLA.

  • Admission: 

    • Admission to the festival is free, but you'll need a wristband and/or tickets to play games and buy concessions. 

       

  • Volunteers: Your Help Will Be Needed!

    We rely on you, our amazing community, to make the Fall Festival a success!

    • Class Assignments: Each class is assigned a booth. Click here to volunteer.

      • All Teachers with full volunteer sign-ups for their class Fall Festival booth win extra entries to the Sunshine Cart raffle.
    • Set-up/Take Down, Sales: Sign up here

    • Concession Donations & Tents: Sign up here

    • Who Can Help: Volunteers can be parents, students, or family members. If a student volunteers and needs service hours, they will be tracked. Parents are highly encouraged to volunteer alongside their students!

  • Tickets, Wristbands, and Pricing

     

     

    Tickets can be used for:

    • Playing games (if you do not have a wristband).

    • Accessing the bounce house, obstacle course, and petting zoo.

    • Using any of the crafting stations.

    • Buying drinks and snacks at the concession stand.

    • Thank you for your pre-order of our Hispanic Heritage x Fall Fest Collab Tee & more!

    • Fall Fest Kit Delivery Options:

      1. Families of PK–2nd Grade: Kits will be distributed 30 minutes before and after the Storybook Parade on Friday, 10/31.
      2. Families of 3rd–8th Grade: Kits will be delivered to your student’s classroom on Friday, 10/31.
      3. Families with students in both grade groups: Kits will be delivered to the oldest student.
      4. Missed your delivery? Kits will also be available for pick-up at the Ticket Booth during Fall Fest.

  • Things to Do

    • Bounce House and Obstacle Course: These attractions require tickets or a wristband for entry.

    • Bubble Station: Enjoy our bubble stations! (no tickets or wristband required)

    • Petting Zoo: This attraction requires tickets or a wristband for entry.

    • Crafting Stations: These require a ticket for participation and awards one stamp.

    • Carnival Games: Games require tickets or a wristband to play and award stamps to redeem at the Prize Booth.
    • Concessions: Snacks will be available for purchase using Carnival Tickets.

    • Performances: Experience vibrant traditional dance and music performances
    • Food Vendors: Delicious food, snacks, and aguas frescas will be available for purchase directly from food vendors.

  • El Mercado

    • La Taquería: Serving tacos y esquites
    • La Frutería: Enjoy fresh mangonadas y gaspachos

    • La Dulcería: Bringing you manzanas locas (spicy candied apples), gomitas locas (spicy gummies), and more!

    • La Repostería: Treat yourself to comfort and tradition with delicious desserts and treats.

    • La Tamalería: It wouldn't be Fall without fresh, warm tamales caseros (homemade tamales).
    • Las Aguas Frescas: Stop by the aguas stand to get a taste of heritage and tradition... and horchata.

        

Festive attire and face paint is encouraged! We look forward to seeing a few Catrinas and Catrina's strolling around at the Fall Festival and making it a memorable event for everyone!
