Join Us for the Wharton DLA Gifted & Talented Expo!

On March 7th at 8:45 AM, our school will be hosting a Gifted & Talented Expo where gifted and talented students will have the opportunity to showcase their student-led research-based projects.

This exciting event is designed to celebrate and highlight the skills and interests of our talented students. We are thrilled to announce that the top project from our campus GT Expo will be selected to represent our school at the district GT Expo!

Please plan to attend the GT Expo on March 7th at 8:45 AM and witness firsthand the incredible projects that our students have been working on. This event will not only be a showcase of their skills and interests but also a celebration of their dedication and passion for learning.

You're Invited! Black History Month Program

Mark your calendars for our annual Black History Month Program on Thursday, Feb. 27th, from 5:30-6:45 p.m.. Enjoy a special program featuring performances by our talented 3rd-8th grade students.

HLSR Trail Ride: Lunch Friday, Feb. 28

On February 28th, our campus will have the special opportunity to witness the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Trail Ride as it passes by our school—a beloved tradition for our students. Since the timing overlaps with lunch, we have a plan with the goal to ensure all students have their lunch and the participate in the experience.

If possible, please have students bring a sack lunch that day or purchase a BBQ student meal, as that would be helpful.
