Hispanic Heritage Month

Wharton DLA proudly observes National Hispanic Heritage Month, running from September 15 to October 15. This period recognizes and celebrates the significant contributions of over 60 million Hispanic Americans, Latinos, Latinas, and individuals of Latin heritage to our culture and society.

All students are invited to dress in their traditional Hispanic cultural attire at school on Thursday, Sept. 19.

This is not a schoolwide free-dress-day. Students not participating in this cultural event are to dress in their school uniform.

Students may also dress in their traditional Hispanic cultural attire at our Hispanic Heritage Bingo and Loteria Night—Thursday, Sept. 19, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
