Community choice grant: $1000 to Power a Project at Your School!
The Houston ISD Foundation is excited to launch a new community-powered initiative! We believe that families play a vital role in shaping the future of their children’s education, and now you have a chance to make a direct impact at your school.
This grant can be utilized for anything the school chooses to prioritize, whether fulfilling a teacher's wishlist, funding a field trip, or making specialized upgrades!

THREE WAYS FOR YOUR SCHOOL TO WIN $1,000

We will award three schools based on distinct categories to ensure fair access to this opportunity:
Most Votes Overall – Awarded to the school with the highest number of individual voters.
Most Votes per Enrolled Student – Awarded to the school with the highest number of votes relative to its student enrollment, allowing smaller schools or communities to compete on equal footing.
LOVE Your School Award – Awarded to the school with the most descriptive and positive responses in the comments section.
